Why this disclosure exists

Axoria is a performance marketing agency, and affiliate marketing is one of the channels we specialise in. We believe the same transparency we ask of publishers in our clients’ programmes should apply to our own website. This page tells you when a link may earn us money, when we have a commercial relationship with a company we mention, and how we prevent those relationships from influencing what we write.

Affiliate links on this website

Some of the links on this website, particularly in blog articles and guides that reference software, tools, platforms or courses, may be affiliate links. If you click an affiliate link and then buy or sign up for a product or service, we may receive a commission from the vendor at no additional cost to you. In some cases the vendor may instead offer you a discount or extended trial through our link.

Affiliate programmes we manage for clients

Separately from links on this website, we design, launch and manage affiliate and partner programmes for clients as part of our affiliate management service. In that role we recruit publishers, negotiate commission structures, monitor compliance and report on performance, and we are paid by the client for that work through fees agreed in our services contract.

Where we manage a client’s programme, we may also be enrolled in it as a publisher and earn commissions if we refer customers to that client through this website. Any such arrangement is disclosed to the client in writing and is disclosed to you on the page where the link appears. We do not use client programmes we manage to route traffic to ourselves without the client’s knowledge.

We may also have commercial relationships with affiliate networks and tracking platforms, for example agency partner programmes that offer referral fees, discounted licences or co-marketing. Editorial independence

Commissions and partnerships do not determine what we recommend. Our editorial standards are:

• Experience first. We recommend tools and services we have used in real work or evaluated directly. If we have not used something, we say so.
• Same assessment, with or without a commission. The presence or absence of an affiliate programme does not change our view of a product, and we include products with no affiliate programme when they are the better choice for the use case.
• Trade-offs stated plainly. Where a tool has limitations, pricing concerns or better alternatives for certain teams, we say so in the same article.
• No paid placement in editorial content. We do not accept payment to include a product in a guide or to rank it above another. Sponsored content, if we ever publish any, is labelled as such.

What affiliate income means for our advice to clients
