Why most SEO programmes stall before they pay back
Our SEO services exist to solve a specific problem: businesses invest in search for a year, see rankings move on a handful of keywords, and still cannot point to the revenue it produced. Usually the cause is not effort. It is that technical, content and authority work were handled as separate projects by separate people, with nobody accountable for the commercial outcome.
Search engine optimization works when those disciplines run as one programme. A crawlable site with weak content will not rank for anything competitive, and links pointed at pages that miss search intent produce authority with nowhere to go. Axoria’s job is to sequence the work correctly and tie every piece to a page that matters for your business.
What our SEO services include
SEO is the practice of making a website the most useful, accessible and trusted answer to the questions your customers ask a search engine. It breaks down into four areas: making sure search engines can crawl and index the right pages, matching each page to a specific search intent, building content that covers a topic thoroughly, and earning references from credible sites so that visibility holds against competitors.
An SEO agency earns its fee by knowing which of those areas is the bottleneck for a particular site right now. For a two-year-old SaaS site with 60 pages, the constraint is almost always content depth. For a marketplace with 400,000 URLs, it is usually crawl budget, canonicalization and template-level on-page quality. We diagnose before we prescribe.

Who this is for
Our SEO clients tend to fall into three groups. E-commerce brands with large catalogues where template-level decisions affect thousands of pages at once. SaaS and technology companies competing on informational and comparison queries where content quality decides the outcome. And lead-generation businesses in sectors such as finance, healthcare and real estate, where trust signals and local relevance matter as much as keyword coverage.
SEO is a poor fit if you need revenue within 60 days or cannot publish content or ship technical changes. There we usually recommend starting with paid search and building organic in parallel.
The SEO challenges we are usually brought in to fix
- Traffic that grew for 18 months and then flattened, with no clear reason in Search Console.
- A migration or replatform that lost rankings and never fully recovered.
- Thousands of indexed URLs generated by filters, parameters or pagination that dilute crawl budget and cannibalize category pages.
- A blog with hundreds of posts that produce impressions but almost no conversions, because nothing was written against a commercial intent map.
- A previous agency that reported ranking movements and delivered no explanation of what changed or why.
How we build an SEO strategy
Strategy starts with a commercial question, not a keyword list: which pages, if they ranked, would produce revenue or qualified leads? We map your product or service lines to search demand, group that demand by intent (transactional, commercial investigation, informational) and estimate the realistic ceiling for each group given your current authority and the competitors already ranking.
That map determines priority. A category page with existing demand and a fixable technical problem comes before a new content cluster, and a cluster supporting a high-value commercial page comes before one that only earns informational traffic. We write this down as a 12-month roadmap, revisit it quarterly and change it when the data says we should.
What we will not do
We do not promise rankings or traffic numbers, because nobody controls the algorithm. We do not buy links, use private blog networks, spin content or publish pages that exist only to target keyword variants. Those tactics produce short-term movement and long-term risk, and we would rather explain a slower result than defend a manual action.
Technical SEO: making the site crawlable, indexable and fast
Every engagement begins with a technical audit because everything else depends on it. We crawl the site with Screaming Frog, compare what the crawler finds to what Search Console reports as indexed, and reconcile the difference. That gap is where most technical problems live: soft 404s, canonical chains, parameter URLs, orphaned pages and content hidden behind client-side JavaScript that Googlebot renders late or not at all.
For larger sites we add log-file analysis to see where Googlebot actually spends its crawl budget. We then fix problems in order of impact: indexation and canonicalization first, then site architecture and internal link depth, then Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP and CLS) and structured data. Full detail is on the technical SEO page.
On-page SEO: matching each page to a search intent
On-page work is where the target keyword map meets the actual site. For each priority page we define the single intent it should satisfy, then check whether the title tag, H1, opening paragraph, subheadings and supporting content deliver that. Where a page tries to serve two intents at once, we split it. Where two pages compete for one intent, we consolidate and redirect.
On template-driven sites, on-page changes are made at the template level so that improving one product or category layout improves thousands of pages. We treat entity coverage seriously: a page about “running shoes for flat feet” needs to address arch support, pronation and stability, not simply repeat the phrase. The on-page SEO service covers the method in depth.
Content strategy built on topical authority
Search engines reward sites that cover a subject completely, so we plan content in clusters rather than as individual posts. Each cluster has a pillar page targeting the head term and supporting articles answering the specific questions around it, linked in both directions. A payments SaaS might own a cluster around “payment gateway fees” with supporting pieces on interchange, chargeback costs and pricing comparisons.
Every piece is briefed before it is written: target query, intent, competing pages, required subtopics, entities, internal links and the conversion action the page should support. Briefs keep content consistent whether it is produced by your team, ours or both. See the content marketing service and our complete SEO guide for how clusters are planned.
Internal linking as a ranking lever
Internal links are the most under-used tool in SEO because they are free and entirely within your control. They tell search engines which pages matter most and pass authority to pages that need it. We audit link depth, anchor text distribution and orphaned pages, fix structural issues in navigation, breadcrumbs and related-content modules, then add contextual links in body copy.
Link building that earns references rather than buying them
Authority still matters, particularly in competitive commercial spaces. Our approach is editorial: we identify pages that deserve links, create assets worth referencing (original data, tools, definitive guides), and pitch them to journalists, industry publications and relevant sites. Competitor link-gap analysis in Ahrefs or Semrush finds sites already linking to similar content, and outreach starts there.
Every prospect is judged on relevance, real organic traffic and editorial standards before we contact it. Twenty relevant editorial links do more than two hundred directory listings. Details are on the link building page.
International and local SEO
International SEO
For businesses selling into several countries we handle market prioritization, the ccTLD versus subfolder decision, hreflang implementation and the distinction between translating a page and localizing it for a market’s actual search behaviour. Getting this wrong creates duplicate content across markets and splits authority; getting it right lets one site serve many. International SEO service.
Local SEO
For businesses that serve a physical area we manage Google Business Profile, build location pages that carry unique local content rather than swapped city names, clean up citations and run a review acquisition process that stays within Google’s guidelines. Multi-location businesses get a scalable template and a governance model. Local SEO service.
Our SEO process
Discovery and commercial mapping
We learn how the business makes money, which products or services carry margin, and what a qualified lead or order looks like. Search demand is mapped to those priorities.
Technical and content audit
Full crawl, Search Console reconciliation, log-file review where appropriate, on-page and content gap analysis, backlink profile review and competitor benchmarking.
Roadmap and prioritization
Findings become a sequenced plan scored by expected impact and implementation effort, agreed with your team and developers before any work begins.
Implementation
Technical fixes are specified as developer tickets with acceptance criteria. On-page changes, content briefs, new content and outreach run in parallel work streams.
Measurement and iteration
Monthly reporting on the metrics that matter, quarterly roadmap review, and continuous adjustment as Search Console and analytics data come in.
Tools we typically work with
Google Search Console and GA4 are the source of truth for performance. Screaming Frog handles crawling; Ahrefs and Semrush cover keyword research, rank tracking and backlink analysis; Looker Studio powers reporting dashboards your team can open at any time. For Core Web Vitals we use PageSpeed Insights and the Chrome UX Report. We are not tied to any vendor and will use what your team already pays for where it does the job.
How SEO results are measured
Rankings are a diagnostic, not a goal. The metrics we report on are organic sessions to priority pages, organic conversions and revenue or pipeline attributed to them, non-brand click growth in Search Console, and indexation health. For e-commerce clients we report organic revenue by category; for SaaS and lead-gen clients we connect organic sessions to trials, demos or qualified leads through analytics and tracking set up properly from the start.
| Metric | Why it matters | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Non-brand organic clicks | Shows growth from new demand rather than existing brand awareness | Search Console |
| Organic conversions and revenue | The commercial outcome the programme is accountable for | GA4 / CRM |
| Priority page visibility | Impressions and average position for the pages that drive revenue | Search Console, rank tracking |
| Indexation ratio | Indexed pages versus pages you want indexed; flags crawl and canonical issues | Search Console, crawl data |
| Core Web Vitals pass rate | Field data on LCP, INP and CLS across page templates | CrUX, Search Console |
What to expect from an SEO engagement
Technical fixes on an established site often show in Search Console within weeks. New content typically needs three to six months to reach its potential, and competitive commercial terms can take longer. Progress is rarely linear; algorithm updates move numbers in both directions and we will tell you when a change is the update rather than the work.
The biggest predictor of success is implementation speed on your side, and we will be direct when the bottleneck is internal. If you also run paid acquisition, our performance marketing team coordinates keyword and landing page strategy so organic and paid do not work against each other.
